Client Focus: Ages 16+, Couples & Families

“Regardless of the particularities of our journey, opening ourselves to human connection is a courageous act. My approach to therapy is grounded in my commitment to honoring this courage and creating a safe space for my clients to share their story and internal world. In my clinical experience with individuals and families from a variety of backgrounds and age brackets, I have witnessed the significant impact of family and community relationships on clients’ experience of themselves and their environment.  As we begin our work together, I will treat you as a whole person with unique strengths, challenges, relationships and contextual factors that are affecting your well-being.  The choice to strengthen self-awareness and connect with the wounded, vulnerable places within us is an ongoing process, and the process is not always linear.  I have found this to be true in my own life, and my goal is to respect your freedom and readiness about what you would like to explore, while also providing structure and accountability in our work together as we continue to build trust.”
