Jarim loves all animals, and especially enjoys being connected to dog rescue and rehabilitation. She is a beloved auntie, house sitter, and trainer to her friends’ dogs.
Jarim started her career with her BA in Psychology and Anthropology, as well as Master of Science in Social Work with specialized focus on Advanced Clinical Practice in Health, Mental health and Disability. She has served people from all walks of lives supporting underserved and marginalized populations, working in inpatient psychiatry and medical social work fields, and doing behavioral health research. Since 2017 she has been providing individual psychotherapy with eclectic, holistic approaches, using creative and person-focused clinical skills.
Jarim is observant, intuitive and attentive to unique needs of each person, offering therapeutic modalities ranging from warm, gentle support to directive and interpretive styles of therapy.
She currently enjoys working with adults 25+ including older adults 65+.
