My practice approach is supportive. My clients are encouraged to take an active role in their treatment by setting goals and discussing realistic objectives. My purpose is to help each person reach their highest growth potential which may begin with basic communication and skills development. I also hope to help individuals make good decisions for a productive and healthy life.
I work with children, adolescent and adults in a variety of issues while utilizing various modalities. I support group effort and encourage parents to participate in therapy as much as possible.
I tailor my therapeutic style to the emotional, developmental and cognitive needs of my client because I strongly believe each individual is an expert and the challenge of therapy is to peel away layers of conflicts hiding that expert.
I am trained to use Neurofeedback as a modality. Neurofeedback is a learning strategy that enables individuals to alter their brainwaves. One might think of this process as exercising the brain or increasing its range of motion.” – Bea
Since joining Emmaus in 2016, Bea has worked with clients ages 3-12, adults and families using a combination of Neurofeedback and therapeutic modalities to help each client to reach their full potential.
