Client Focus: Ages 18+, Couples & Families |
As a therapist, I take a cura personalis—care for the whole person—approach to my practice. Your mental health is infused with many intersecting factors—your family, loved ones, spirituality, sexuality, physical health, education, vocation, hobbies, trauma, lived experience, imagination, hopes, and dreams for your life.
Anxiety, depression, relationship and family problems, and life dissatisfaction often flow from being disengaged from one of these vital parts. My hope is to integrate them into your care. I believe that we are our most authentic selves when we get to know all of these parts and get comfortable enough to integrate them into our personal identity.
My training is in family systems therapy. Therefore, I take an intersectional approach to my practice, especially emotion-focused therapy and Bowenian intergenerational family therapy. I help individual clients, couples, and families with anxiety, depression, relationship distress, grief and loss, and post-traumatic stress. I also love to help clients navigate phase-of-life challenges and religious/spiritual problems. Together, we will work to integrate every part of you into a more authentic self.”
