“Life is full of surprises and relationships can be messy at times. As much as we strive to be predictable and pleasant, difficult situations do arise. Most of the time we manage these situations beautifully but at times, we are baffled by our unintended behaviors. Relationships get complicated when there is wrong done to us, or we have done wrong to them.
I have received so much support when I had to navigate challenging times in my life, and I want to help others when they are facing tough times. As a therapist, I am passionate about supporting your dreams and goals. I specialize in helping others with emotional regulation, and understanding why we do what we do. It is not shameful but wise to seek different perspectives. It is not losing face but courage to choose to be vulnerable. As Brene Brown puts it, “Vulnerability is not knowing victory or defeat; its understanding the necessity of both; its engaging, its being all in.”
