Prior to joining Emmaus in 2013, Diane worked as a staff therapist at Group Health Cooperative Behavioral Health Services in Seattle and at Compass Health in Lynnwood, WA. She brings extensive experience leading Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills groups, as well as using DBT in her work with individuals, to help clients improve their ability to regulate their emotions so as to better manage symptoms of depression, anxiety and general mood volatility.

Diane also works with men and women who are struggling with identity development, grief and loss, issues as related to sexual abuse and/or body image, compulsive eating, relationship/family issues as well as with life-phase-transition issues.

Diane completed an internship at the UW Fertility and Endocrine Clinic. One of her special interest areas is in working with individuals and couples who are struggling with issues as related to fertility challenges.
