Ms. Homes has worked for more than 20 years at Youth Eastside Services as a youth and family counselor and parent educator. Prior to that, she was a middle and high school teacher.

She has been in private practice since 1998, focusing on work with adolescents, families in conflict, adults in transition and relationship therapy for both traditional and non-traditional families.

Lori's philisophy:  "While working with you I draw primarily on a counseling approach that views the problems presented within the context of the family and social environment. I use structural and strategic family therapy methods as well as working with family of origin issues. We will be talking about the patterns in your life and working to change those that are painful and unfulfilling to you. My goal is to support you in creating new, more joyful interactions with the world around you."

Lori works with children ages 12 years old and up, couples, and adults.
