Karen Simms, M.A., LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Ms. Simms received her Masters of Arts degree in Psychology, with specialized education in Art Therapy from Antioch University Seattle and her undergraduate degree from the California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo.

Before entering the practice in 2011, Karen served two years for the Peace Corps in Ethiopia. Prior to this, she worked as a therapist at Sound Mental Health in Seattle. Karen has extensive experience working with a variety of clients in both individual and group therapy, has a broad understanding of cross-cultural issues, and a deep respect for the process of healing. Her goal as a therapist is to facilitate healing, growth, and a deeper understanding and awareness of self.

Karen works with late adolescents and adults.
