What are the specialties of the therapists at Emmaus Counseling?
Emmaus Counseling has a variety of practitioners, each therapist has experience in a wide range of specialities. To find the therapist that's right for you and your needs, please
go to our Home page, look for "Find a Therapist" and then make a selection from the drop down menu under "Find a therapist based on your need:". Also, Ann, Michele or Sheila have more extensive information regarding each therapist
and their experience and are glad to answer your questions.
How quickly can I be seen at by a therapist?
A commitment that Emmaus has made over the years to potential clients is that they will be seen in a timely manner.
You can usually expect to be seen within 1-10 days depending on you and your preferred therapist's schedule. However, if an emergency exists, please call 911 or
call the Crisis Clinic at 1-800-244-5767 or (206)461-3222.
What are those initials behind each therapist's name like, LMHC, LMFT, ARNP, PsyD, PhD, MN, ACSW, LMSW, RAT, etc?
These initials indicate licensing information for each therapist. For example: the initials LMHC mean Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMFT means Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and so on.

Where can I be seen by a therapist?
Emmaus Counseling Center has two convenient locations: downtown Redmond (8290 165th Ave NE, 98052) and downtown Bothell (10116 Main St, 98011)

What are the charges for seeing a therapist?
The vast majority of clients who visit Emmaus use their health insurance. After we verify your insurance plan and its benefits,
Ann, Michele or Sheila will inform you of the specifics of your benefit plan as described to them by your insurance company.
